Parking garage Cooltoren

The project

In the heart of Rotterdam, we build a completely new parking garage, next to the 154m high Cooltoren. The parking garage will provide parking facilities for the residents of this recently completed residential tower. Commissioned by Ballast Nedam, we produce, assemble and deliver among other things the steel construction, fencing and the spiral staircases for this beautiful project.

The work

The steel construction of the parking garage was installed in collaboration with Schot Verticaal Transport. Inside, the parking garage will have spiral staircases, stairs and fencing. The fencing has been placed around the entrance and exit and the stairs in various stairwells created for this purpose. Facade grilles have been installed on both long sides of the parking garage. They were produced at our location in Meppel. These facade grilles have a slatted pattern. This gives the parking garage a modern look.

Continuation

In Autumn 2022 the assembly workers of our sister company Kamplacon will provide roof- and facade cladding on site. The construction is expected to be completed at the beginning of 2023.
