Balustrades along new railway bridge in Naarden

On behalf of Dura Vermeer we supplied and installed balustrades for the railway bridge in Naarden.

The balustrades are hot dip galvanized, and they have a total length of 94 m and a 64 m long balustrade made of Corten steel with a ‘waving reed’ cut. The balustrade with carved waving reed pattern is not something that we make or see often. For this project it was vital to have the concrete well mapped out. In close consultation with Dura Vermeer, we measured the concrete in 3D and then expanded the balustrade again using the same model. As a result, the balustrade fitted perfectly and the end result is impressive!
