Substations

Kampstaal has broad experience. We’ve made everything, from supermarket to market hall. Though substations are perhaps a less obvious assignment for a steel constructor. Nevertheless, we can credit ourselves with quite a number of these too!

Specialised work

Substations are part of our national, high-voltage grid. These electrical installations transform voltage, by increasing or decreasing it. Although power consumption might be an everyday event, building a substation is certainly not an everyday task. It occupies a specialised and technically advanced place in the high-voltage grid. Working for TenneT, the designated electricity grid operator in the Netherlands, we have produced and assembled the following substations:

Agriport in Middenmeer

Zorgvlied in Amsterdam

Oude Schip in Eemshaven,

And various substations in Oterleek, Rilland and Beverwijk.
